Day 1:
Marmaris 		Welcome to Turkey! Boarding for your cruise begins at 3:30 p.m. from Marmaris Port. Service aboard starts with dinner and an overnight stay in the Harbor on day one. Marmaris was built upon the traditional city of Karian and boasts an abundance of stunning architecture which, if you have time before the boarding, is a must see! Don’t worry if not though: we will return at the end of the tour when there will be time to explore. The city's most valuable asset is Marmaris Castle which dates back to 1577. This fortress, which now also encompasses a museum, is a great starting point before moving on to the mosque and a spectacular 8-room caravansary covered with arches form the Ottoman era. If you’re feeling adventurous head for the antique ruins on Asar Hill located on the Northern side of the city. Being one of the most renowned tourist destinations in Turkey, the Marina itself is both large and impressive. More importantly though it's where the cruise begins tomorrow! (D)
Day 2:
Dalyan 		This morning, during breakfast, you will be informed about both the boat and the cruising programme! After the meeting we will leave the Marina and sail into the clear blue waters. The Gulf of Ekincik is where we are headed and what a place to start the trip! Composed of a multitude of stunning Islands with serene beaches and crystal waters surrounding them, the back drop for a relaxing day on the boat really is set! However, if you want to get more active, there is an optional tour of Dalyan available today. The optional tour starts from the Gulf itself, where you will board a smaller vessel called a ‘Piyade’ and head off in search of the famous Karian City of Dalyan. On the way, enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding delta before arriving in the ancient town. Dalyan's appeal can be found in its traditional values - Dalyan means "fishing weir" and the surrounding, fertile areas are busy with agriculture, particularly pomegranate production. There's alot to see too though. Impressive Rock Tombs and ancient Castles, theatres and a Basilica complex not to mention the stunning Iztuzu Beach. It doesn't stop there though! Having had time to explore the area and perhaps indulge in a rejuvenating mud bath, the final leg of today's trip takes us to Turtle Beach where you get the opportunity to see some of the magnificent logger head turtles up close and personal! Dinner and overnight stay for all follows this. (B, L & D)
Day 3:
Tersane Island 		Due to the wavy capes that we have to cross surrounding Disibilmez and Kurtoglu we set sail earlier than on other days in search of the famous naturally protected gulf of Fethiye. After anchoring near Adali Bay, breakfast will be served in preparation for the day ahead which we can enjoy alongside the lovely views of the bay. After we've had our fill, we head to Manastir Bay and the opportunity to swim in the surrounding waters before enjoying even more food! The area really is magnificent and is actually otherwise known as Cleopatra Bay or Sunken Bath Bay due to the beautiful underwater ruins of a bath which can be found here. We sail on and by the end of the day we will have anchored at Tersane Island for dinner and an overnight stay. Here there is a naturally protected harbor, which was once used as a shipyard dating back to traditional Byzantine and Ottoman times. The history of the surrounding area is evident in the harborside ruins and makes for a unique atmosphere. (B, L & D)
Day 4:
Fethiye 		The fourth day of our cruise sees us arrive in Fethiye Harbor after lunch and a swimming break at Kizil Island on the way. Fethiye was known as Telmessos or 'land of light' in ancient times and is steeped in myth - the oracle of Tlemessos is said to have had a great impact on ancient history! It was also one of the most important cities situated on Lykia’s western border and was famous for its prophets. This all creates a sense of tradition which can still be felt today. The area stretches out in a half circle along the bay where it is naturally protected by 12 islands. There is alot to see so today time will be given to either independently tour the town or to simply relax. Whatever you choose to do, the day will end back in Fethiye Harbor for dinner and overnight stay (B, L & D).
Day 5:
Gemiler Island 		Today, after breakfast, we head out in the direction of Oludeniz where we will drop anchor at lunch and sample yet another fantastic spread. Again take the opportunity to swim and relax in the water warmed by the Turkish heat. Once dry we then head onto Gemiler Island to spend the night and cherish the wonderful scenery. Mysterious by nature this Island offers a fantastic place to watch the sunset over another day in paradise! An early evening walk is recommended along with a visit to the Church of St. Nicholas, located at the top of the Island where it has stood since Byzantine times. Dinner and overnight stay will be in the Gemiler Strait. (B, L & D)
Day 6:
Aga Harbour 		With breakfast out of the way, we move today through a series of beautiful islands and as we go the scenery just gets better and better until we reach our first port of call, Yassica Island. Here we will anchor for a while. From here we then move onto Domuz Island for some swimming in the tranquil waters before finally anchoring tonight in Aga Harbour after the hard days sailing! Day 7:
Marmaris 		Today we set sail for Kumlubuku Bay early in the morning. Here as we will do later as well at Cennet Island we stop for a swim and enjoy our last day bathing in the cooling waters of Turkeys coast. Lunch will also be served at Cennet Island before heading back in the evening to Marmaris Harbour for our final overnight stay. As outlined on day 1, time will be afforded here to explore the town and head right into the city center to experience the lovely night life as well. This is a great way, we believe, to end the fantastic tour and we hope you’ll agree too! (B, L & D)
Day 8:
Marmaris 		Your tour finishes after breakfast when it’s time to disembark the boat for the last time and bid farewell to our new friends, the Turksh coast and the Mediterranean sea! (B)
